Overview :
Ratangad means Jewel Fort, and it surely justfies it's name. Ratangad can be trekked from Samrad and Ratanwadi Village, both village are famous one for the famous Sandhan Valley and another for the ancient Amruteshwar Temple. The trek has a lot to offer, starting from scenic traverse and rock cut stairs from samrad route, needle hole (nedhe at top, caves, buruj and water tanks and descend through ladder. The fort provides scenic views of Kalsubai, Alang-Madan-Kulang, Katrabai and Bhandardhara backwaters.
