Tentative Schedule :
05:00 am : Reach base village and rest in vehicle itself
06:00 am : Have breakfast
07:00 am : Start trek with short briefing and introduction

10:30 am : Reach the last water stream and explore

11:00 am : Start return trek

02:00 pm : Visit Kalu Waterfall view point (If weather is clear)
02:30 pm : Back to base village and have lunch
04:00 pm : Start return journey
10:00 pm : Reach Borivali

Things to Carry :

  • 2 litres of water

  • Windcheater

  • Trekking shoes (Action Trekking or Coaster CTR shoes are recomended, avoid Forclaz/Quechua/Running/Other sports shoes for treks in Maharashtra)

  • Sandals/Slippers/Floaters (for travel before and after the trek)

  • Dry snacks for trek and bus journey

  • Extra pair of clothes (Limited changing facilities)

  • Glucon D or Elecrolyte Powder

  • Medicine as necessary to you


Important Note :

1. Aadrai trail has 3 small water streams and after that there is a half n hour walk to reach the plateau where the trail ends. End point has no extraordinary view so we will return from 3rd water stream point only.

2. Lunch will be at around 2.30-3.00 pm, which is a little late so please carry some snacks for the trek and return bus journey.

3. You can carry extra pair of clothes and slippers and keep extra luggage in bus (do not keep any valuables in bus).

4. Changing facilities are limited, please be co-operative and adjust in given facilities at base village.

5. In case of heavy rains, water streams may get heavy and crossing the same becomes difficult. Leaders call will be final for the turn around point in such cases.

Overview : 

Aadrai forest is popular for the dense forest walk but there is more to it. Aadrai trail has multiple water streams and waterfalls on the way. Apart from that on a clear day one can see the entire Malshej Ghat region, Harishchandragad region and breathtaking view of Kalu Waterfall. The drive to reach base village of Aadrai goes through beautiful Malshej Ghat and Pimpaljoga Dam.
